Abstract:

With COVID-19, we saw a swift degradation of patient safety.  This suggests that we need foundationally new perspectives to create resilience in our systems. What blind spots are keeping us from gaining a whole picture? In this session, we will explore Safety II concepts along with other new-frame insights to expand and embrace a system-wide resilient approach to patient safety.. one that is foundational and not a fad.
