Assoc Prof Dr Azarinah Izaham,

Azarinah Izaham is an Associate Professor and Consultant Anaesthesiologist at the Faculty of Medicine of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She obtained her medical degree in UKM in 1999 and pursued her postgraduate study in anaesthesiology in the same university and graduated in 2007.  She has wide experience in various disciplines in anaesthesiology and critical care with special interest in perioperative liver surgery and transplant and endocrine surgery. She is also involved in training undergraduate and postgraduate, medical students, nurses, medical technologists and paramedical practitioners in the fields of medicine and anaesthesiology. She is actively involved as an examiner in examinations conducted by Board of Examination of Anaesthesiology & Intensive Care in Malaysia and has also authored various publications in local and international journals.
